It was the first time here. Host is welcoming. Had fish and chips, can honestly say best fish and chips I've ever had. Would highly recommend
Went for a drink and a good WiFi connection while my wife went to see her cousin. Good beer but not on hand pump. Nice, interesting decor for a pub in this location. Seen more prosperous days in the past but still in there in a good way. After I had been my wife told me that it was her cousins and husbands pub and their daughter who I spoke to worked there. Small world!!!
Great food and nice prices, friendly staff what more do you need. Hob Goblin on draft maybe but the Speckled Hen is superb so 5 stars here.
Only visited for a drink with friends after a museum tour. A friendly atmosphere and crowd but a bit tired decor.
A fantastic meal meal here, perfectly cooked, service was excellent and they keep a great pint, prices are extremely reasonable, I will definitely return
